Posting
Finally after a long wait and a long block leave, the posting is out.. Alot of us kena OCS, I got into it too.. Quite happy also cuz OCS's pay is more, hahaha! Linus got in Sispec which is good for him, at least after this vocation we need not get tekan by others le.. Haha!!
Been going out this few days, the chalet that I went was fucked up.. First time in a chalet we got ppl losing stuff like digi cam, new phones, etc.. Was damn sad and down cuz I was one of the organisers and this kinda thing happen in the event. The worst thing was the happen in the platoon, Ninja 4, WTF!!! I mean if the thieve is in need of money he can just ask from us straight. Cuz the cam and the phones have special meanings behind it, the cam was bought by my friend and his girl, they have memories in it. And one the phones has the only last memory of my friend's ex-gf.. This is so sucky manz!
But whateva, we just cant do anything anymore, that thieve has no consience.. He just sucked to the core.. Will be going down to PS later to meet up with my Ninja guys cuz one today happen to be the bday of one of our beloved sergeant.

POP!!!
Finally I'm outta BMT phase. Just a blink of the eye and 3 months are gone, its like so super fast!!! Made lotsa good friends, brothers and buddies during my 3 months there and I must admit Ninja has got the best commanders in the whole of BMTC 2 although we suffered for 3 months under the "CARE" of a COMMANDO! Anyway was out at zouk last night with my platoon mates and it was hella fun there. Maybe because its been months since I last club ba.
Yesterday was Serena's Bday too. Happy 21st Birthday Pretty girl / Attitude Gf!! Haha.. Did nothing the whole of today, felt so practically useless. Think most prob going to run and work out tmr morning then follow by maybe KTV session with my platoon mates in the afternoon before going Chinablack for the NUS bash. But I guess it will be an army batch rather than NUS bash cuz the guys there will mostly be BOTAKS!!!
Waiting for Posting is so damn sianz cuz u dunno where ur next unit would be. Heard that OCS only open one wing and its Alpha Wing, the most xiong outta all! Then Sispec would be opening for all the rest but hope I dun get into Delta cuz its practically like commando training too. Next mon, tues and wed will be going for a chalet organise by my platoon, think it'll be real fun cuz I'll be the activity officer. Hahaha! Posting will only be out on 16th Sep which is next fri, so damn bloody long!!!

Sam's BMT relections and memories
One of the most memorable thing about this batch should be the dates that we were enlisted and passed out from Ninja Coy. The date that we were enlisted was 9th June while the date that we pass out is 6th Sep. I can still vividly remember the day when I was enlisted into BMTC SCH 2 Ninja Coy. The morale of each and everyone was so low that not many of us talk much on that day. But gradually we started to talk and get together as often as possible and maybe thats how my platoon get to bond so closely. Although Platoon 4 went through the most "shit" trainings and "extra work", we still get quite happy because we feels that we are really bonded together as one and we don't mind doing all the work.
The next memorable thing about BMT should be the fieldcamp. It's memorable because none of us has ever had the feeling of not bathing and changing of clothings for 7 days straight. The feeling was not very good but none of us complained as we felt that all of us had to go through this to complete the BMT phase. This was the time when we were tested on our patience, characteristics and how each and everyone of us try to work together to get the best results out of us. And this was also the only time when the commanders can really "tekan" us to get us tough and get us going such as doing all the movement drills, camo on and off, basha on and off, everything on, everything off and many more. I think I will die thru fieldcamp if I was without the help and support from Ninja 4, they are just simply the best. Overall all of us enjoyed fieldcamp alot but not forgetting also the day when we get back to our bunk after the fieldcamp ended, there was only one word to describe our feelings, SHIOK!
Other than that, the following memorable thing about BMT is definitely the Sit Test that we went through. Although its just a short 3 days of outfield but we didn't really enjoyed that because we were split up into different details and we got to bond together with recruits from the other platoons and see how well we can work together in the detail. This really tested us on how we are able to get along with one another but also at the same time to try and lead the others. Besides that, we went through Range and Handgrenade throw during BMT. Range was fun because not many of us tried live firing before and the feeling was great. Another thing to add on was we can be very slack during range which I think many of us like that point. After that came the Handgrenade throw, this made alot of us quite paranoid and scared as it was a Live grenade and many of our hands were already trembling even though we haven't hold the grenade yet. But as this was the only time we can throw a grenade in our army life, we took it seriously and we enjoyed the process of that too.
After completing the handgrenade throw, we were already sort of close to coming to the end of BMT phase. That left us with only the IPPT and SOC test which most of us feared alot as if we failed these 2 critera, its alittle hard for us to get into command schools. SOC test was the one that everybody in the platoon hates. This is so because we had to run so far before reaching the first obstacle which is the Low Wall and it seems so much like a high wall to all of us. The next memorable thing that we had is most probably the 24km road march. Ninja 4 really did very well in this road march as we sang along the whole stretch of 24km and I'm very proud to be one the Ninja 4 guys. Although most of us suffered leg injuries but we still carried out and completed it without any complains. The most memorable thing about this 24km road march should be the smile on our OC's face as I've never seen him smiling so happily during our normal road marches before.
To sum up all these, I would like to say that I'm very proud of my platoon and I'm very happy that I end up in BMTC 2, Ninja Coy because its the best company which produce alot of good and caring commanders to train us hard and made my platoon so bonded together as one. And also not forgetting Ninja Platoon 4, it simply gives me the best memories and most probably the best friends and brothers of my life. I"M GONNA POP ON 6th SEP LOH!!!!
